Pre-Soccer
Pre-Soccer is for boys and
girls ages 3-4 that want to try soccer but are not
quite sure if they want to be on a structured
team. The children are taught by certified EYSA
coaches the fundamentals of soccer including
dribbling, rules, and teamwork but most
importantly it is to have fun. Each week they will
have a practice session and a scrimmage (after the
second week). It is a 6-week program; children
will need to have shin guards.
Dinomites
EYSA is pleased to announce in the Fall 2009 season we will begin using the DINOMITE Program. The Dinomites program is specifically designed to keep 3 and 4 year old minds focused, if that is possible, on learning the proper techniques of playing soccer by making it fun. The Dinomite program will include a custom ball to help develop proper foot technique. Each player will recieve their own ball, included in the registration cost, that they will bring to practice each week.
This program has
rapidly grown over the last year and space is
limited. Please register early to reserve your
child's spot. This season, due to demand, we will offer three practice time slots. Each time slot will have a maximum on 16 kids. It is on a first come first serve basis.
PLEASE BILL MARTIN (490-3674) FOR ANY
QUESTIONS
*** T-shirts and Soccer Ball are included in the price of
registration – registration also includes the end
of the year pizza party and a medal for each
player
*** We like everyone to be on time,
but we are very patient at this age and understand
if a player is late.
*** I know we all want
to be the next soccer superstar, but the
environment is very relaxed – we will try to learn
some basics of soccer and hopefully not to chase
butterflies when they fly past.
*** Parent
interaction is encouraged and will be needed – it
takes several people to help form lines, chase
balls, and to keep the kids off the ground – when
asked please help out, it will make it more fun
for everyone
*** Teams will be divided up
each Saturday – we do not assign permanent teams
at this age because we do not know who will show
up from week to week
*** If your child will
be out an extended period of time please send me
an email, where I do not start to
worry.
